By booking a photography session or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Bookings & Payments

  • A booking is only confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received.
  • The remaining balance must be paid on or before the date of the photography session unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed price.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session are non-refundable.
  • Sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability.
  • In the unlikely event that the photographer must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

3. Photography Sessions

  • Clients are responsible for arriving on time. Late arrival may reduce shooting time.
  • The photographer is not responsible for uncooperative children, subjects, or weather conditions during outdoor sessions.
  • Clients are responsible for obtaining permission to photograph at chosen locations if required.

4. Image Selection & Delivery

  • Final edited images will be delivered via an online gallery (e.g. Pixieset).
  • Image delivery times are typically 7–14 days, unless otherwise stated.
  • The number of images delivered depends on the package booked.

5. Editing & Style

  • Images are edited in the photographer’s professional style.
  • Additional editing requests may incur an extra charge.
  • RAW/unedited images are not provided.

6. Copyright & Usage

  • All images remain the copyright of Michelle Lutley Photography.
  • Clients are granted a licence for personal use only (printing and sharing).
  • Images may not be altered, filtered, or edited without written permission.
  • Commercial use requires a separate licence agreement.

7. Model Release & Image Use

  • Images may be used for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
  • For children under 18, parental or guardian consent is required.

8. Liability

  • Every effort is made to deliver high-quality images; however, liability is limited to the amount paid for the session.
  • The photographer is not responsible for loss of images due to circumstances beyond control (e.g. equipment failure, natural disasters).

9. Data Protection

  • Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations.
  • Client information is used solely for business and communication purposes.

10. Changes to These Terms

  • These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.
  • The version published on the website at the time of booking will apply.
